A new beginning – Solutions Architect in VMware Global CoE (Singapore)

We can always begin and yes I took another to step to start a fresh beginning. It’s been a wonderful journey in vCHS R&D for close to 1 and half years and then I figured out that I missing the other side of the world. Meeting customers, understanding their pain points, giving them solution is something that I am missing.

I was fortunate enough to collaborate with Duncan Epping in R&D for various assignments and through one of such conversation I was introduced to Michael Haines. That was a turn in the way I look at things here. Thanks to both of them I got the opportunity to get to see what GCoE does and finally moving to Solutions Architect role in GCoE. I will start by mid of July in my new role and will move to Singapore.

Global Centers of Excellence (Global CoE) works directly with Product Development and Field/Partner Sales & Delivery organizations to incubate and help bring to market the next generation of deep technical architectures, solutions and services. In this role I will work on advanced product and solution incubation development well in advance of market availability, will work on emerging solutions, services, and escalations, and also on continuous knowledge exchange between all key stakeholders in VMware and Partner Communities.

Thanks to my Manager Uttam Kumar for supporting my move to this new team. I am excited to work some of great minds across the world. This will bring lot of blogs in the near future for sure.

Go SDDC !!
